Action C.5.1:
Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in river basins

We are implementing NBS in several rivers in all three territories to prevent future flooding. Specifically, on the Estepona River in Bakio, we will create an urban marsh and a floodable forest; on the Errekatxulo River, in Donostia-San Sebastian, we will restore the channel, and in Araba/Álava we will reforest some riverbanks in the Natura 2000 network.
