School of Environmental Communication 2025 - Km0 Conversations to connect with citizenship

In person: Palacio Miramar - Donostia/San Sebastián

The School of Environmental Communication, organised by Ihobe-Public Company for Environmental Management of the Basque Government and APIA-Association of Environmental Information Journalists, is now in its sixth edition as a forum for debate on communication and the environment.

It aims to create a space for reflection and offer some key insights into the communication of significant environmental challenges, such as the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, natural environment conservation, the implementation of the circular economy, and sustainable development, among others.

In this seventh edition, the School of Environmental Communication has been reconverted and evolved to give way to a format of in-depth conversations with those who are contributing, from different perspectives, to advancing the energy and climate transition, and changing the narrative to communicate more and better on environmental issues.

In the 2025 edition, the conversations will address the connection between consumption, gastronomy, and communication, as well as the relationship between our consumption habits and the environmental impact they generate. Additionally, the discussions will highlight the need for consumers and citizens in general to receive accurate and rigorous environmental information.

These talks are complemented by a practical experience for all participants in the School: a visit for those who attend in person and a workshop for those who attend online.
