The aim of this activity is to raise awareness among children about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from a climate perspective, showing them how they can contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change and achieving the SDGs in a playful way.

Coinciding with World Environment Education Day (January 26), five workshops were held on January 26 and 29 with three different schools to teach primary school children about climate change and the SDGs. The aim was to familiarise children with concepts related to climate change and their impact on achieving the SDGs in a gamified format. We must not forget that all our daily activities have an impact on climate change, and all our actions, no matter how small, are important when it comes to mitigating it.
Work was done on the different SDGs via a number of questions and quizzes, focusing on the issue of climate change. In addition to learning about the different SDGs, there were different quizzes where children were able to think about the different actions they can take in their daily lives to mitigate climate change and achieve the SDGs. A major new feature this year was the addition of two new tests related to achieving SDG 7 (affordable clean energy) and SDG 12 (responsible production and consumption).
