KLIMA Azoka to mobilise the public on the tenth anniversary of the Berdeago fair

27/02/2024

On its tenth anniversary, Berdeago Azoka has decided on a new format that encapsulates the dual perspective of the fair: nature and energy, subjects that will attract the interest of the public attending Landako Gunea in Durango.

Between March 22 and 24, Ihobe and EVE will promote KLIMA AZOKA, a travelling fair aimed at raising awareness of and mobilising citizens on the effects of climate change and the importance of them making small gestures in their everyday habits to contribute to mitigating and adapting to it.

Two worlds united

The Berdeago fair will have around 60 exhibitors and two strands: Berdeago Energy will focus on energy efficiency, environmental innovation, sustainable mobility, circular economy, and Berdeago Nature will look at responsible consumption in areas such as sustainable food, fashion, home, health and well-being.

Both categories will be exhibiting at the fair and visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of products from different fields, all based around the premise of sustainability. Companies and professionals from the Basque Country will attend this fair to discuss topics that are of interest to public institutions based around energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, energy renovation, bio-construction and waste management.

Free activities of every kind

People attending the fair will be able to enjoy the events that will take place completely free of charge on March 22, 23 and 24 at Landako Gunea in Durango. The sponsors of this fair include Bizkaia Provincial Council, the Basque Government, Ihobe, Durango Town Council, Consorcio de Aguas de Bilbao Bizkaia and Eroski.

People attending the fair will be able to take part in different raffles organised by Berdeago Azoka that will benefit visitors and exhibitors. The Berdeago programme, which will soon be announced, will also feature talks, presentations and workshops by the exhibiting companies.
