Installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the BEC rooftop
The Basque Energy Agency (EVE) has developed a solar energy self-consumption project based on a large photovoltaic installation on the Bilbao Exhibition Centre's roof. The installed capacity of the new plant is 990 kW and annual production is estimated at 1,042 MWh, which will be used for self-consumption of electricity. This facility will be the only one of its kind in Bizkaia and will provide production and performance data.
This initiative is part of Action C.4.4: Driving renewable energies.
