Show through games for the whole family the actions that can be carried out to make progress in climate change adaptation and mitigation through everyday actions in the home, mobility, leisure or consumption.

The ASTEKLIMA Azoka travelling fair presented the climate change challenge in nine Basque town between 22 September and 1 October, while ASTEKLIMA 2023, the fourth edition of the Basque Country Climate and Energy Week, was taking place.
More than 1,700 people came to the marquees where there were games for all the family. They learnt which daily habits can help mitigate the effects of climate change and what towns can do to help adapt our urban environments to its effects. Participants were also able to learn about the councils’ initiatives in terms of mitigation and adaptation to climate change both on a local and a regional level.
This citizens’ fair was organised as a result of the collaboration between the public company Ihobe, the Basque Energy Agency-EVE, the European LIFE IP Urban Klima 2050 project, the Basque network of sustainable municipalities-Udalsarea 2030, and the Ekoetxea network of environmental centres. It could be visited in Bilbao, Bakio, Trapaga, Irun, Azpeitia, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Donostia/San Sebastián, Zarautz and Bermeo.
